When companies misbehave, executives pay a price on the job market—even if they had nothing to do with the trouble. When the Pacific Northwest university called back a day later, I quickly (and thankfully) accepted the job. Anyway, time to stop bitching and get back to applying to every job that comes along – regardless of location, compensation, and what I might think of the school.
